Perry was last in action during Australia’s recently concluded away bilateral ODI series against New Zealand, where she scored 43 runs in a couple of innings.
As far as the T20I format is concerned, she has the joint most appearances for Australia (162 matches) in the format alongside the Australian skipper Alyssa Healy. Her tally of runs included four half-centuries with a high score of 86 against Hobart Hurricanes on 6th November 2024.
Her stint with the Wellington Blaze will be her maiden stint in the Women’s Super Smash tournament. The blockbuster series will include 3 ODIs, 3 T20Is and then a one-off Pink Ball Test match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
