Australia Women tour of New Zealand

Australia Women tour of New Zealand will feature 3 different matches against New Zealand and Australia’s women’s team. These will take place on December 18th, 20th and 22nd, respectively. The teams met 4 times until now, and Australia beat New Zealand 3 times, with NZ taking the win just one time. However, things might change during this new tour, as New Zealand’s female team has been on a roll, since they defeated India, South Africa, West Indies and Pakistan over the past 2-3 months.

Ireland Women’s tour of India

In January, we’ll have India playing against Ireland during the popular “Ireland Women’s tour of India”. During their last head to head matches, Ireland won just 1 match out of 5, with India taking the win, overall. They had 213 max runs and 152.8 average runs, when compared to 152 max runs and 120.2 average runs for Ireland. Despite that, we could see Ireland making a comeback. 

There are 3 matches a part of this tour, one on January 10th, with the other ones being on January 12th and the last one on January 15th

Queensland Fire Women vs Tasmania Women

The match is set for Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 23:30. It’s one of the introductory matches for the Australian Women’s National Cricket League. When it comes to direct matches, the teams played 6 games against each other since 2019. Here the Tasmanian Roar team holds the record, with 5 wins, 224.5 average runs and 294 max runs. Queensland Fire is not very far behind, but it had only 1 win, 203.3 average runs and 250 runs.

Women’s Ashes 

Women’s Ashes is a cricket event taking place in England and Australia. This event will take place in Australia, and it will feature 7 matches between Australia and England’s female cricket teams. These will take place on January 12th, 13th, 16th, 20th, 23rd, 25th and 30th. The first 3 matches, on the 12th, 13th and 16th will be a part of the ODI series. While the current run of the Hallyburton Johnstone Shield for female cricket teams finishes on December 14th with Auckland Hearts vs Wellington Blaze, there’s a new set of matches running from February 7th to February 8th. These matches will include:

  • Central Hinds vs Northern Brave 
  • Auckland Hearts vs Otago Sparks 
  • Wellington Blaze vs Canterbury Magicians

Sri Lanka Women tour of New Zealand
