Stafanie Taylor and Afy Fletcher to lead T10 games ahead of CPL Knockout matches

West Indies captain Stafanie Taylor and fellow national teammate Afy Fletcher will be leading the two teams which will play T10 games ahead of the knockout matches of the Caribbean Premier League.

Taylor will be leading the NLCB Revellers while Fletcher will be the captain of Courts Gladiators. Both the teams will play a T10 game ahead of the Hero Caribbean Premier League semi-final between Trinibago Knight Riders and Barbados Tridents.

The T10 matches for women will give a boost to women’s cricket in the West Indies and provide a platform for the players to play the game before a huge crowd. It will also give the local cricketers an opportunity to showcase their talent. These games can be the forerunners to a women’s league in upcoming years.

Team NLCB Revellers will be captained by Stafanie Taylor while leg-break bowler Afy Fletcher will lead the Courts Gladiators. Both the players are experienced and have been an integral part of West Indies women’s cricket team.

Well known players such as Anisa Mohammad, Britney Cooper, Hayley Matthews, Natasha McLean, Kycia Knight and Qiana Joseph will be taking part in the game. While Revellers will be made up of players from Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago and the Leeward Islands, players from Barbados, Guyana, and the Windward Islands will play for the Gladiators.

The match will take place before the men’s semi-final and no extra pricing will be done on the tickets. People having CPL playoff tickets can attend the women’s T10 match free of cost.
