Former Indian women’s team captain Mithali Raj posted a heartfelt tweet on social media platform X on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, saying, “Happy Ganesh Chaturthi to all! May the divine blessings of Lord Ganesha fill your homes with love, light, and positivity.”

Anjum Chopra, a former Indian women cricketer, also posted on X, “Today is the day of Ganapati Bappa, and that’s why this day is very special for all.” She also wished a happy Ganesh Chaturthi to all her followers and loved ones. India’s legendary bowler Jhulan Goswami also put out a tweet, wishing her fans greetings on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi and praying for power, wisdom, and love from Lord Ganapati.

Shafali Verma also posted a photo with her family celebrating the Ganapati festival with joy. She captioned the post, “Wishing you all the best on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.”

Current Indian women’s team vice-captain Smriti Mandhana was seen in Mumbai City, captured by paparazzi with her friend at one of the Ganpati Pandals.

As the vibrant celebrations of Ganesh Chaturthi continue, the heartfelt wishes from these prominent Indian women cricketers—Mithali Raj, Jhulan Goswami, Anjum Chopra, Shafali Verma, and Smriti Mandhana—showed their deep connection to India’s rich cultural heritage.

Their enthusiastic participation in the Ganapati festival, coupled with their warm wishes to fans and loved ones, bridges the gap between sports and tradition. It highlights how these athletes, while being modern icons, remain rooted in their cultural identity, inspiring millions of followers to embrace both athletic excellence and cultural values.
