Knight Riders won the inaugural Women’s Caribbean Premier in 2022, recently they announced Jhulan Goswami as their mentor ahead of WCPL Season 3.
Jhulan expressed her excitement about joining the TKR women’s team as a mentor. She highlighted the honour of joining a quality franchise and emphasized TKR’s impact on promoting local talent in Trinidad. Goswami noted TKR’s success in both the inaugural WCPL 2022 and as the most successful Caribbean men’s team, underscoring her enthusiasm to contribute to such a prestigious team.
She shared, “Hi I’m Jhulan Goswami, I’m joining TKR women’s team as a mentor. Well, you know, it’s an honour to join such a quality franchise. I’m also looking forward to join TKR Team. They bring a lot of value to the local society (in Trinidad) and in promoting local, young cricketers. The first edition (WCPL 2022) – they won the competition and the same with the men’s team – they are the most successful Caribbean team over there. It is an honour for me to join such a quality team and I’m really, really super excited to join TKR team. We are TKR! Let’s go girls.”
