Members of the Indian women’s cricket team visited the Tirupati Balaji temple and offered prayers. A couple of days ago, the Indian women’s team secured a hard-fought 10-wicket victory in the one-off Test against the Proteas at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
The ongoing all-format series between India and South Africa started with a three-match ODI series in Bengaluru on June 16. India whitewashed the Proteas, with South Africa failing to win a single match.
In the one-off Test at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai from June 28 to July 1, India scored a record-breaking 603 in the first innings. Laura Wolvaardt’s side scored 266 in their first innings, failing to avoid a follow-on, and had to bat again, scoring 337 runs and setting a small target of 37. India chased this without losing a wicket.
Shafali Verma, Smriti Mandhana, and Sneh Rana were India’s key performers. After this victory, skipper Harmanpreet Kaur, Shafali Verma, and other Indian players offered prayers at the Tirupati Balaji Temple.

The series will conclude with the T20I series at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, with the hosts looking to continue their home domination as the Proteas have yet to win a match in the series.
