Cricket Australia’s CEO, Nick Hockley, emphasized Cricket Australia’s unwavering commitment to fostering cricketing talent globally, stating their absolute desire to see cricket grow and thrive worldwide for both women and men.

Recognizing the challenges faced by Afghanistan cricket amid the current political and social landscape, Hockley reaffirmed Cricket Australia’s steadfast support for the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB). He emphasized the ongoing efforts to strengthen women’s cricket in Afghanistan, despite the prevailing obstacles.
Hockley expressed that Cricket Australia maintains close communication with the Afghanistan Cricket Board and remains committed to supporting the growth of the sport in Afghanistan.
