A total of seven teams participated in the Dhaka Premier Division Women’s Cricket League in the recent edition of the tournament. The tournament was played in the 50-over format.

Abahani Limited Women’s led by skipper Jahanara Alam had an impressive campaign in the tournament. Abahani Limited’s right-hand batter Dilara Dola unlocked a unique achievement by scoring back-to-back centuries (104 off 58 balls) against Jabid Ahsan Sohel Cricket Club Women’s Cricket team, and City Club Women’s cricket team (164 off 95 balls). She also achieved the record of scoring the fastest century by a Bangladeshi batter at the domestic level (in just 54 balls) against the Jabid Ahsan Sohel Cricket Club Women’s Cricket team.

She surpassed Jasia Akter’s 66-ball century against Kalabagan Krira Chakra in the previous edition. Abahani ended up with a score of 404/6 in their quota of overs. It is the highest total in the history of domestic cricket in Bangladesh. Abahani eventually clinched the game by a massive 368-run margin, bundling the opposition for 36 in the 23rd over of the run chase.

She followed that up with another sensational performance with the bat, scoring 164 runs off 95 balls at an impressive strike rate of 172.63. Her knock included nine boundaries and 12 maximums. Abahani eventually clinched the game by 350 runs by wrapping the opposition for just 52 runs in the 26th over of the run chase. She has scored 1020 runs at a strike rate of 95.95 and an average of 26.15 in 41 innings. Her tally of runs includes four half-centuries and a couple of centuries at the domestic level so far.
