West Zone 1st Innings (continued from day 1)

West Zone resumed their innings with Devika Vaidya and Yasktika Bhatia, Vaidya scored 41 runs before being dismissed by Minnu Mani. Yastika Bhatia played a crucial innings, contributing 67 runs with 10 boundaries before getting dismissed by Mani. Bhavana Goplani and Smriti Mandhana also made significant contributions, scoring 23 and 30 runs respectively. However, the lower order collapsed under the pressure of South Zone’s bowling attack, with Minnu Mani’s sensational spell claiming a 6-fer. Despite Radha Yadav’s unbeaten 39 with six boundaries, West Zone could only manage a total of 230 runs in 70.5 overs.

South Zone Bowling

Skipper Minnu Mani was the standout bowler for South Zone, claiming 6 wickets for 73 runs in 23.5 overs. Sunanda and Shabnam also contributed with crucial wickets, taking 2 and 1 wickets respectively.

South Zone 2nd Innings

In their second innings, South Zone lost opener Roshni Kiran early, but Miriyala Durga and G Kamalini steadied the score with a partnership of 27 runs. Kamalini contributed 18 runs before being dismissed by Devika Vaidya. Durga remained unbeaten on 29 runs, while Tamanna Nigam provided support with an unbeaten 10 runs. South Zone ended the day at 58/2 in 30 overs.

West Zone bowlers put up a disciplined effort, with Anuja Patil and Devika Vaidya claiming one wicket each.
