Annabel Sutherland notches up her 2nd test century in the only test against South Africa at the WACA in Perth and puts Australia in a well-commanding position in the test match extending the 1st innings lead near 300 and continuing along with different partners at the other end. As soon as she crossed her century she took on the bowlers all over the park scoring 150 at a brisk rate and also scoring the fastest 200 overall and ending her innings as the 2nd highest Australian Women’s test score of 210 with only Ellyse Perry ahead her at 213. During this inning, Sutherland was able to break several records in the history of women’s test cricket overall and for Australia-W.
After making her 2nd century Annabel Sutherland becomes the youngest Australian Woman and 3rd overall to score 2 centuries with only Emily Drumm (NZ-W) and Sandhya Agarwal (IND-W) being younger.
