Players to watch out:
The 33-year-old all-rounder, in 36 T20 Internationals (T20Is), has piled on 1160 runs at an average of 41.42 and registered the highest of 127*, while also having 16 wickets to her name off 21 bowling innings and the best of 4/13. Fatuma has led her team from the front, and her runs and wickets have been the difference-makers. She, in two outings, has registered scores of 18(17) and 45*(41) and produced figures of 2/18 (3) and 0/19 (4).
The 25-year-old spinner in T20 cricket, in 17 outings, has contributed with the bat by scoring 106 runs and has also taken 14 wickets from 16 bowling outings. Mariam didn’t play in the side’s opener, and in the following game, although she didn’t have the best start by departing for a golden duck, she managed to compensate with the ball, finishing with economical figures of 1/20 (4). She will be trusted to carry forward her form with the ball.
The 21-year-old batter has amassed 444 runs, including the highest score of 47*, from 29 T20I appearances. Hudaa averages 21.20 and has a strike rate of 96.31. Hudaa has looked in ordinary touch with the bat, departing with scores of 24(30) and 10(16), but she has excelled with the ball, registering figures of 1/25 (4) and 2/26 (4).
The 21-year-old pacer in T20Is, in 36 bowling outings, has bagged 48 wickets and has also been handy with the bat, adding 180 runs to the tally from 21 innings. Perice has lived up to expectations, returning figures of 1/27 (4) and 4/28 (4). She has also excelled in the batting ranks, recording scores of 16(17) and 13(13).
The 22 yards at the Leader’s Club Ground make a well-balanced center wicket, providing a fair contest between bat and ball. The wicket assists both spinners and pacers effectively, while batters too enjoy their time in the middle with an average score in the 120s.
With moderate winds, humidity at 71%, and the temperature forecasted to hover around 31°C, the conditions promise a complete game of cricket. The overhead is expected to be partly cloudy and the chances of rain are minimal.
