Tendulkar has always been an advocate for women’s cricket and had expressed his wish to see a domestic tournament for women. In the interview, he highlighted how the WPL has brought in a new era of women’s cricket by opening doors for many young girls who aspire to pursue cricket as a profession. He was impressed by the standard of play exhibited by the Indian women cricketers in the WPL and noted that their athleticism was a pleasant sight to watch. He applauded the women for their excellent fielding and dedication to the sport, adding that he did not expect this level of competition.

Tendulkar believes that the WPL will inspire young girls to take up cricket and provide them with a platform to showcase their skills. He emphasized the need for more leaders to emulate in women’s cricket to inspire the younger generation, saying that younger generations can watch all these women compete in a fair manner, but at a very high level.

However, Tendulkar’s aspirations go beyond cricket. He wants to see a similar change in other professions and walks of life, emphasizing the importance of gender neutrality in providing equal opportunities and freedom of expression. He believes that equality has multiple layers, and it should happen not only in cricket but also in India and beyond. He hopes that being gender-neutral will give everyone a reason to smile.

His advocacy for women’s cricket and gender neutrality is a call to action for all to work toward building a more inclusive and equal society.

Sports have always been a huge part of my life, and having played cricket professionally for my state team, I gained a deeper understanding of what it takes to succeed in the world of sports. With an eye for detail and passion for sports, I’m hoping to make a lasting impact in the sports industry.
