Women cricketers in the West Indies will be back in action from the 8th of May to feature in the Cricket West Indies (CWI) organized, Women’s Super50 Cup, and the Women’s T20 Blaze regional tournaments in St. Kitts.
The Women’s Super50 Cup features 6 teams; Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago Divas, Windward Islands, and hosts Leeward Islands. While the most successful side in the history of the competition is Trinidad and Tobago, with 13 championships, Barbados enters the 2023 season as the defending champions.

The Women’s T20 Blaze features the same 6 teams and since its inception in 2012, the tournament subsequently took place in 2013, 2016, 2018, 2019, and 2022. Defending champions, Jamaica, are the most successful side in the competition with 3 to their name, outnumbering Barbados who’s won a couple.
