Thailand toured Zimbabwe in 2021 for a 4-match unofficial One-Day series, and a 3-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series, and in a reciprocal tour, Zimbabwe is now all set to play a multi-format series in Thailand from the 19th to the 29th of April, 2023.
While Zimbabwe received its One Day International (ODI) status in 2021, Thailand was awarded its status in 2022. It is for the same reason, Thailand’s 50-over series on tour of Zimbabwe in 2021 which was drawn level at 2 was an unofficial one.
In 2021 Thailand’s tour of Zimbabwe, the T20I series saw Thailand upset its hosts in the decider to claim a 2-1 series win. The forthcoming series gets underway on the 19th of April with the 1st of 3 ODI games and will conclude the tour with the 4th T20I game on the 29th of April.
