Cricket South Africa (CSA) has announced the 15-player Momentum Proteas contracted squad for the upcoming 2023/24 season. The team has included two new national contracts for all-rounders Anneke Bosch and Delmi Tucker, along with the all-action Nadine de Klerk, who has received her first contract since 2021/22. The trio replaced the retired players Dané van Niekerk, Trisha Chetty, and Lizelle Lee.

After their historic conclusion to the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023, the Proteas Women will embark on two back-to-back bilateral tours against Pakistan and India in September and October this year. The subcontinent tour will be followed by homebound tours featuring two consecutive three-match, One-Day International (ODI) and T20 International (T20I) series against Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in December and January 2024. In March 2024, the Proteas will play a multi-format contest away in Australia. The team will play three ODIs, three T20Is, and a solitary Test match against the T20 World Cup finalists. All of the team’s 50-over matches in the next 12 months will form part of South Africa’s ICC Women’s Championship 2022 – 25 campaign as part of the qualification expedition towards the 2025 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in India.
