The household names in English cricket were previously referred to as Nat Sciver and Katherine Brunt respectively but will now use their married name, ‘Sciver-Brunt’ on the field. This was revealed when England squared off against New Zealand in a warm-up match and was heartwarmingly shared by the England and Wales Cricket Board’s (ECB) Twitter handle as the image featured the dynamic duo on and off the field with their married name titled ‘Sciver-Brunt’ in their jerseys which won the hearts of everyone. They tweeted, “Two new names on the scorecard! Our all-rounders will go by their married name moving forward – introducing the Sciver-Brunts.”

Nat Sciver has had a remarkable 2022 bagging important ICC Awards and was nothing short of phenomenal while Katherine Brunt has been a legendary bowler for England always delivering when the team most needed her to and this T20 World Cup could potentially signal her swansong from multination tournaments in international cricket.
