3rd Batch of Players for 100% cricket superstars campaign announced

The International Cricket Council (ICC) started its very own, ‘100% cricket superstars’ podcast which in its first set featured 5 very prolific cricketers in Sophie Ecclestone, Amelia Kerr, Hayley Matthews, Shafali Verma, and Laura Wolvaardt. The latest edition of the same sees, Nigar Sultana, Nattakan Chantam, Jemimah Rodrigues, Alana King, and Lara Goodall feature.

Nigar Sultana (Bangladesh)

The 25-year-old debuted back in 2015 in Pakistan and since in 28 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) innings has scored 592 runs at an average of 23.68, a strike rate of 47.02, and with 3 fifties to her name, she’s got the highest score of 73. Skipper, Sultana in 65 Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) has scored 1225 at an average of 24.50, a strike rate of 89.87, and with 3 fifties and a century has got the highest score of 113*.

Nattakan Chantam (Thailand)

The 26-year-old debuted back in 2018 and since in 4 ODIs she’s scored 267 runs at an average of 66.75, a strike rate of 74.12, and with a couple of fifties and a century to her name, she’s registered the highest score of 102. The talented opener in 59 innings has scored 1249 runs at an average of 26.02, a strike rate of 89.59 and with 6 fifties to her name has got the highest score of 88*.

Jemimah Rodrigues (India)

The 22-year-old debuted back in 2018 for the side and since in 21 innings has scored 394 runs at an average of 19.70, a strike rate of 68.76, and with 3 fifties to her name, she’s got the highest score of 81*. The graceful top-order batter in 59 T20Is has scored 1494 runs at an average of 30.48, a strike rate of 113.95 and with 9 fifties to her name, she’s got the highest score of 76.

Alana King (Australia)

The 27-year-old debuted early this year and across formats (2 Tests, 11 ODIs, 13 T20Is) has bagged a total of 32 wickets, 3, 14, and 15 respectively with the best figures of 2/39, 3/59, and 4/8. The super impressive Australian spinner in so less time has already tasted absolute glory and played crucial roles in Australia’s 50-over World Cup win and the Commonwealth Games Gold medal claim.

Lara Goodall (South Africa)

The 26-year-old debuted back in 2016 for the side across white-ball formats and in 37 ODI innings scored 731 runs at an average of 22.84, a strike rate of 62.85 and with 3 fifties to her name has got the highest of 93*. In 19 T20Is she scored 273 runs at an average of 21.00, a strike rate of 104.59, and with a half-century to her name has got the highest score of 52. Lara debuted in Test match cricket early this year and in a couple of innings scored 36 runs of which 26 had come in one.
