Ever wished to watch the Indian male and female cricketers train together? Here’s one for the record. In a viral video, Indian Women’s team senior pro, Jhulan Goswami was seen bowling to Indian men’s team vice-captain, KL Rahul. Both the superstars were at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore.
KL Rahul returned home from Germany where he’d undergone surgery and Jhulan Goswami after having missed the tour of Sri Lanka is aiming for a comeback in the Indian team. Jhulan at 39 is training hard to maintain her fitness levels and keep up with the increasing demand for the sport.
In the viral clips, the first one saw Jhulan bowl a couple of balls to KL Rahul, one to which he played a beautiful straight drive, the ball too was a good one challenging the off stump and the other saw a backfoot cut to a short and wide one, was a typical tired bowlers delivery.

Jhulan Goswami having retired from the T20I format isn’t on India’s list of upcoming Commonwealth Games. India has got white-ball games against England later in the summer and that’s what Jhulan Goswami will be aiming at for a return.
India’s Commonwealth Games campaign kick starts on 29th July when they meet rivals Australia in the opening encounter of the tournament.
