On Tuesday, 15th February, England Cricket Board announced its cricket calendar for Summer 2022.
England has declared to host both South Africa and Indian Women’s Cricket team later this year. Against South Africa, England will play a multi-format series which will comprise 1 Test, 3 ODIs, and 3 T20Is. Against India, England is scheduled to play 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is.
South Africa will visit England between June-July and play a Test match after 8 long years. The last they played a Test match was against India in 2014.
After the series against South Africa, the world will witness yet another historic event in Commonwealth Games to be held in Birmingham. The Hundred will take place after the Commonwealth Games are done.
Post The Hundred, India will be the opponent for three IT20s and three ODIs, with the summer culminating in an ODI at Lord’s on Saturday September 24.

All games will be broadcast live on Sky Sports with two games simulcast live on the BBC.

“It’s fantastic that we’ve been able to include Lord’s and the Riverside Ground as venues for two of this year’s fixtures. They will be exciting events for the women’s game as we continue to try and take our game to as many fans as possible.
“With the second year of The Hundred and the unique opportunity of the Commonwealth Games on home soil, we’re really looking forward to what 2022 will bring for women’s cricket.”
