PCB in talks with West Indies Cricket to conduct a women’s ODI series in Pakistan

Earlier today, the PCB announced an action-packed home season for the Pakistan Women cricketers. The season will commence on September 9 and conclude on October 21. The Pakistan Cricket Board is in talks with Cricket West Indies to include another series in the window between the English series and the team’s departure for World Cup qualifiers in Zimbabwe with a motive of giving more match practice to the Women in Green.

The PCB is in talks with Cricket West Indies for a white-balls series between the women’s teams, confirmed a reliable source to a sports channel on Wednesday.

“The talks with West Indies board is in final stages – logistics and number of games are being finalized before official confirmation of West Indies women team’s tour to Pakistan. As the team is preparing for ICC World Cup qualifiers, the majority of matches are expected to be ODIs but both the boards are working to add T20Is in the tour as well.”
