India Women trio of Mithali Raj, Jhulan Goswami and Veda Krishnamurthy at the Kapil Sharma Show

On 28th April 2019, the Sunday edition of the night show “The Kapil Sharma Show” saw the presence of three of the greatest trio of India Women’s Cricket team – Captain Mithali Raj, legendary Jhulan Goswami and the sensational Veda Krishnamurthy.

The show host, Kapil Sharma greeted the guests with great honour and congratulated them for being the pride of the nation. He highlighted Mithali’s achievement of making more than 6000 runs in international cricket and Jhulan’s milestone of becoming the highest wicket-taker in women’s cricket.

The importance of learning self-defence techniques by women was also showcased through a small cameo played by Veda and a male member among audience. Veda said that self-defence is an art and everyone must learn it but if the men in our country are under control, it would not be required to use it.
