New Zealand and Perth Scorchers all-rounder Hayley Jensen has tied the knot with long-time partner Nicola Hancock, the uncapped Melbourne Stars pace-bowling all-rounder. The news of their Sunshine Coast ceremony was announced on the players’ instagram handle.
“Thank you to everyone who came up to the ‘Sunshine’ Coast for our special day it was amazing to see all of our loved ones whilst we pledged our love for one another!” Jensen wrote.
Posting photos of her wedding, the Hancock expressed her happiness and wrote, “On the 12th of April 2019 I got to marry the girl of my dreams. The day was filled with lots of laughter, joy and of course love. I would like to thank everyone for making the day what is was. We love all of our family and friends and am so grateful to have you all in our lives. Here’s to our next chapter”.
Both are professional sportswoman and play together in Women’s National Cricket League, the domestic 50-over competition in Australia and Jensen has played eight ODIs and 20 Twenty20 internationals for the White Ferns.
The official twitter handle of the Melbourne Stars posted congratulatory message for Hancock, “From #TeamGreen, congratulations to Stars bowler Nicola Hancock who married her partner Hayley Jensen last weekend!”
