England Women wins 3rd T20I against Sri Lanka to clinch the series 3-0

England Women ended their Sri-Lankan tour with a dominant win by 96 runs in the third and last T20I to complete a clean sweep in the three match T20 series. Sri Lanka had won the toss and elected to bowl first. English openers Danielle Wyatt and Amy Jones put up a quick-fire 96run opening partnership in just 10.1 overs and set the stage right for the batters to come in next.

Following a huge total of 204 runs, Sri Lanka lost three wickets within the batting powerplay of first six overs. Although Hansima Karunaratne and Dilani Manodara showed some helping hand to the team’s batting collapse but that was not much for the mounting run-rate and they eventually lost the match.
