During India’s ongoing ODI series against South Africa, which is being played in Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium, skipper Mithali Raj achieved a milestone landmark as she surpassed the 10,000 runs mark in her international career. Before the 3rd ODI against South Africa, Raj was just 35 runs away from the mark. Mithali scored 36 runs in the game, thereby completing 10,000 International runs.
Making her debut in the year 1999, the legendary player has played 10 Tests, 89 T20Is, and 212 ODIs scoring 663 runs in the test format, 2364 runs in the ODI format, and 6974 runs in the ODI format. She is just 26 runs away from becoming the first batter to score 7000 ODI runs.
