Earlier Diana said, “I would first like to thank Indian cricket for giving me this opportunity and would also like to say that my effort to promote cricket among women in this country has only begun. I wish to see more and more girls coming out to play this game.” Celebrating the womanhood, she further added, “Also, I would like to believe that women today are shining in every field and they should continue to do so. Just to add, the Indian women’s team has done really well in recent times and on this women’s day, I want to make a wish that our girls should go and win a World Cup soon”
