Child sensations Swara Gurav and Pari Sharma “bat” their way to stardom

Child prodigies Swara Gurav and Pari Sharma took the internet by storm as their batting videos went viral on social media. Both these children exhibit some good cricketing techniques in their respective videos and have won the hearts of many.

A six-year-old girl named Swara Gurav from Pune playing cricket indoors with her brother and a seven-year-old girl named Pari Sharma from Rohtak also playing cricket indoors raised many eyebrows of not only former and current international cricketers but also cricket fans across the world.

Swara’s video was shared on Female Cricket’s Twitter account and within few hours went viral as national cricketers and coaches saw her talent and they couldn’t stop themselves from praising this young talent.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) director and former New Zealand coach Mike Hesson seemed to be mighty impressed with Swara and was left in complete awe of the young girl’s solid technique.

In the video, the six-year-old girl can be seen hitting the ball with absolute ease and showcasing some incredible footwork for such a young girl. Indian woman fast bowler Shikha Pandey along with India’s Captain Mithali Raj also took to the internet to praise Gurav’s skills.

A similar video of Pari Sharma from Rohtak, Haryana playing some good looking cricket shots indoors went viral. The video garnered high praise from cricket fans around the globe. It even grabbed the attention of former England captain Michael Vaughan and current West Indies batsman Shai Hope. Vaughan and Hope both took to Twitter and shared Pari Sharma’s batting clip in which she was playing shots with solid footwork and firm head position.

Pari Sharma in no time became an internet sensation after her video shared by ESPN Cricinfo went viral on social media. Several pro cricketers, including England’s Alexandra Hartley and Michael Vaughan, were mighty impressed by her skill, and showered praise upon her.

The video, clocking in at about 1 minute, was uploaded on ESPNCricinfo’s Twitter, showing Pari Sharma flexing some serious footwork as she makes quick, precise shots with her bat.
