New South Wales Breakers led by skipper Georgia Adams were up against Queensland Fire led by skipper Jess Jonassen in the 3rd match of the tournament. The New South Wales Breakers skipper Georgia Adams won the toss and opted to field first at the Allan Border Field, Brisbane. After being inserted to bat first, the Queensland Fire openers Georgia Voll and wicket-keeper batter Georgia Redmayne got their side off to a good start with a 22-run opening partnership.
