Guyana Amazon Warriors led by skipper Lauren Winfield-Hill defeated the Trinbago Knight Riders led by skipper Deandra Dottin in the 3rd match of the season at the Brain Lara Stadium, Tarouba, Trinidad. Both these sides were up against each other in a reverse fixture in the 4th match of the season at the same venue.
The Guyana Amazon Warriors skipper Lauren Winfield-Hill won the toss and opted to field first at the Brain Lara Stadium, Tarouba, Trinidad. After being inserted to bat first, the Trinbago Knight Riders openers Harshitha Samarawickrama and skipper Deandra Dottin got their side off to a flying start with a 66-run opening partnership. The pair scored at a rate of 8 runs an over.
Chloe Tryon picked up the wicket of Harshitha Samarawickrama to provide the first breakthrough for Guyana Amazon Warriors. Tringbago Knight Riders suffered a collapse as they lost their next four wickets for just 11 runs.
