Players to watch out:

Sarah Bryce

The 24-year-old keeper-batter, from 7 WBBL outings, has accumulated 141 runs at an average of 23.50 and a strike rate of 122.60. Sarah had a promising start to this maiden WBBL campaign, registering scores of 36* and 62, and while she failed in subsequent outings with a string of single-digit scores, she scored a solid 30 in her recent outing and should be backed to build on this return to form.

Courtney Sippel

The 23-year-old pacer, from 53 WBBL innings, has picked up 48 wickets, including the best of 4/27, while maintaining an economy rate of 7.58. Courtney was consistent in the previous three seasons, picking up 12, 12, and 16 wickets respectively. However, in this season, she has managed only 4 wickets from 8 outings and will hopefully step up her efforts, producing good spells consistently.

Brooke Halliday

The 29-year-old middle-order batter, in Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), has tallied 391 runs from 33 innings and also struck 7 wickets. Brooke has been in outstanding form lately, including scoring her career-best of 86 only recently. In this maiden WBBL campaign, on debut, she top-scored with a 44-ball 47 and can be banked upon for another good score, leading the scoring.

Amy Edgar

The 26-year-old all-rounder in the WBBL, from 28 outings, has scalped 31 wickets, including the best of 4/19, maintaining an economy rate of 7.03, while also chipping in with 248 runs from 25 innings. Amy hasn’t found much success this season but has been among the wickets, scalping 7 from 8 outings, maintaining an economy rate of 7.54, and can be counted on for breakthroughs.

Pitch:

The Bellerive Oval offers a good batting deck, with an average score in the 150s. However, the wicket poses a challenge for batters throughout the game due to its spin-friendly nature, keeping the bowlers in the game.

Weather:

Despite cloudy skies, Hobart promises ideal conditions for a complete game, with a minimal chance of rain. The temperature will be around 21°C, with light winds and 66% humidity.

Beth Mooney, Sarah Bryce, Ellyse Perry Melie Kerr, Ashleigh Gardner, Amy Edgar, Sophie Devine, Alana King, Chloe Ainsworth, Lauren Cheatle, Caoimhe Bray
