It will be Adelaide Strikers’ second match in the competition, losing their previous encounter against Sydney Sixers by 17 runs. On the other hand, Melbourne Renegades will play their first match.

Players to watch

Katie Mack: 

The right-handed opening batter of Adelaide Strikers starred with the bat as she scored 34 off 32, including a boundary. She anchored the run chase well and was in the middle until the 15th over. She played some stunning shots and ran well between the wickets.

Darcie Brown: 

The right-arm pace sensation of Adelaide Strikers was one of the two wicket-takers in her last appearance against Sydney Sixers. She opened the bowling with Megan Schutt and struck with 20/1 in four overs. She was consistent with her lines and lengths, making her the most economical bowler in the side.

Sophie Molineux: 

The captain of Melbourne Renegades is a left-arm spinner from Australia. She is an attacking bowler and a genuine wicket-taker. Apart from her bowling, she can be a handy middle-order batter. She has featured in 27 T20Is and accounted for 26 wickets.

Hayley Matthews: 

The West Indian all-rounder will feature for Melbourne Renegades. She is a right-handed batter and a right-arm off-spinner. She can open the batting and bat in the middle as needed. She can also open the bowling. In her 69 T20Is, she has 1252 runs and 66 wickets.


It will be the tournament’s fourth match at the venue. Out of the three games played here, the teams batting first have won two and the teams batting second have won one. The venue has produced some high-scoring encounters. Batters will enjoy playing here.
