1st Innings Summary  Put into bat first, Melbourne Renegades lost both of their openers by the end of fourth over. But after that, wicketkeeper Emma Inglis and Sophie Molineux stayed on the wicket and played skillful cricket. Just when the run rate was getting accelerated, rain shopped the match when the scoreboard read 83-4 in 14.3 overs. Melbourne Renegades could not bat more in their innings and Megan Schutt remained the best bowler for Adelaide Strikers.

2nd Innings Summary Finally, rain stopped. But the match was reduced to 11 overs and the revised target for Adelaide Strikers was 78 runs. But just when the batters were settling in, the rain started pouring in once again right in the middle of fifth over and the match was subsequently called off without any result.
