1st Innings Summary – Adelaide Strikers got off to a solid start with both the openers playing intelligently as the first wicket fell in 13th over when Sophie Devine was caught by Sophie Molineux. But skipper Suzie Bates did another quick partnership with number three batter Tahlia McGrath before getting out on second ball of seventh over. But the middle order collapsed like a pack of cards as the team lost five wickets within a space of three overs. Both, Sophie Molineux and Georgia Wareham bowled brilliantly and brought their team back into the match in death overs.

2nd Innings Summary – Opener Danielle Wyatt batted beautifully and played 62-run innings including eight 4s and a six. Middle order batters Claire Koski and Erica Kershaw played cautiously and did a match winning 62-run partnership after Danielle got out in 13th over. This match became the first nail biting game of the tournament so far as Melbourne Renegades reached the target with a courageous yet conclusive four by Claire Koski on the last ball of the innings.
