1st Innings Summary – HBHW innings had three run outs. Opener Erin Fazackerley was on fire right from the word go and hammered 38 runs from 16 balls including four 4s and three 6s but fell short of completing the second run on 2nd ball of fifth over. Also, wicketkeeper batter Georgia Redmayne made valuable 49 runs off 48 balls before getting run out on the second last ball of their innings. A crucial partnership of 45 runs was done for fourth wicket between Georgia and skipper Sasha Moloney. Heather Graham took three wickets and was the most successful bowler for PRSW.
2nd Innings Summary – Chasing a modest total, PRSW lost their first wicket early in the third over. But opener Elyse Villani took charge and stood tall on one end making 58 runs off just 39 balls before getting out in 15th over. Then, Lauren Ebsary’s unbeaten knock of 40 from 27 balls and Chloe Piparo’s quick 26 off 16 balls ensured first win for their team. For the bowling side, HBHW captain Sasha was most successful (3-0-19-2)
