This series, starting on October 13, 2025, represents a significant opportunity for the UAE Women to gain more exposure and compete in challenging conditions away from home days after their ODI debut against Zimbabwe. All four ODIs will be hosted at Amini Park in Port Moresby, the cricketing hub of Papua New Guinea.

This PNG tour follows an encouraging recent campaign for the UAE Women in Zimbabwe, where the team displayed resilience and skill to secure a 2-2 draw against Zimbabwe. This maiden ODI series result marked a milestone for the UAE Women, showcasing growing competence and competitiveness on the international stage. Matches were keenly contested in Bulawayo, with both sides making notable contributions throughout the series.

Heading the team is prolific all-rounder Esha Oza, who continues to lead by example both on and off the field. Her leadership and on-field performances have been integral to UAE Women’s recent successes, inspiring the squad as they face new challenges in Papua New Guinea. Oza’s experience and skills provide stability to the side, especially as the team seeks to build on their promising results from Zimbabwe.

Wicketkeeper-batter Theertha Satish and all-rounder Heena Hotchandani were other top performers, and unfortunately for UAE, Hotchandani isn’t named in the touring contingent.

The four ODIs in Papua New Guinea are scheduled as follows: the opening match on Monday, October 13, followed by subsequent matches on October 15, 17, and 19, starting each day at 9:30 AM local time.
