The highly anticipated inaugural edition of the U19 Women’s Asia Cup is set to begin on December 15, 2024, in Malaysia. This landmark tournament will feature six teams, including hosts Malaysia, Full Member nations India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan, as well as Nepal, who qualified through the U19 Women’s Asia Cup qualifier.
The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has launched this tournament to provide a competitive platform for young talents. It also serves as preparation for the U19 Women’s T20 World Cup, scheduled to take place from January 18 to February 2, 2024.

The tournament will be played in the T20 format, with the six teams divided into two groups:
- Group A: Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia

- The final match will be held on December 22, 2024, featuring the top two teams from the Super Four stage.
