Khushi Sharma, a cricketer hailing from India, has found her stride representing the United Arab Emirates national cricket team. Growing up in Ajman alongside her brother Sanchit Sharma, who made his debut for the UAE cricket team in 2021, Khushi’s cricketing journey is intertwined with her family legacy. Their father, Brij Mohan Sharma, a former cricketer at the senior level for Haryana, India, moved to the UAE in 1990 and established a successful metal trading firm.
Sharma’s introduction to the Women’s Twenty20 International arena came in November 2021 during the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier held in Dubai. She further represented UAE in the 2022 GCC Women’s Gulf Cup held in Muscat, Oman.
In her 46 innings, Khushi has made significant contributions with the ball, claiming 45 wickets at an impressive economy rate of 5.41 and an average of 15.06.
