The 25-year-old pacer from Zimbabwe made her international debut on 10th November 2021 in an ODI against Bangladesh. She has picked up three wickets at an economy of 3.95 and an average of 38.66 in 7 innings. Her best performance with the ball for Zimbabwe in the ODI format came on 26th March 2024 when she returned with brilliant match figures (6.4-1-15-3) against Papua New Guinea. Apart from her ability to contribute to the ball, she has also scored 24 runs at a strike rate of 45.28 in seven innings with the bat for her side.
She made her T20I debut on 21st April 2022 against Uganda. She has picked up five wickets at an economy of 7.17 in 11 innings. Her best performance with the ball in the T20I format came on 24th April 2022 when she returned with match figures (3-0-18-2) against Namibia. She has also scored four runs in a couple of innings with the bat.
Chipare’s cricketing journey began at the age of eleven, and she was coached by Nonhlahla Nyathi. Besides cricket, she is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in wildlife, ecology, and conservation.
She is a part of the Zimbabwe squad for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier in Abu Dhabi commences from 25th April 2024 and will conclude on 7th May 2024. The two finalists will book a spot for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Bangladesh, later this year.
