Sugandika Kumari since her white ball debut in January 2015 against Pakistan has shown her versatile skills representing Sri Lanka in both One Day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals. She was part of Sri Lanka’s squad for major tournaments like the 2018 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 in the West Indies and the 2020 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia, showcasing her reliability on the international stage.
Kumari was selected for Sri Lanka’s squads in the 2021 Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournament in Zimbabwe and the 2022 Commonwealth Games Cricket Qualifier in Malaysia. Her inclusion in the team for the cricket tournament at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England, further highlights her impact on the team.
