The captain of the side Dane van Niekerk, who last played an ODI in February last year, has made her comeback to the South Africa Women side for the three-match series in New Zealand. Along with her players like Chloe Tryon, Marizanne Kapp and Ayabonga Khaka are fit for the tour.

It will be an exciting tournament as many youngsters have found their place in the squad like Nondumiso Shangase, who has played three ODIs and four T20Is and Nadine de Klerk. The tour will start on January 25 with the first two ODIs in Auckland and the final game in Hamilton.

This series will significantly help the Squad find a rhythm and prepare prior to the World Cup in Australia.
