The second T20I in the bilateral series between New Zealand Women and South Africa Women is all set to take place in Seddon Park, Hamilton. South African Women will be disappointed as they couldn’t even put up a fight against New Zealand in the series opener. They couldn’t contain the heat of Georgia Plimmer and Amelia Kerr in the 1st innings, and Sophie Devine dismantled their batting unit in the 2nd innings. As South African Women will be looking to bounce back in the series against New Zealand Women, here are the top 3 players to look out for:

Kayla Reyneyke
Kayla Reyneyke, the South African all-rounder, has been a fine new addition to the squad as she can contribute well with both bat and ball. In her T20I career, she has scored 53 runs from 2 innings at a strike rate of 155, and she has also picked up 3 wickets at an economy rate of 6. In the series opener, she couldn’t contribute with the ball as she was hit for 19 in her first over, but she scored a gritty 24* in the 2nd innings to keep her side in the hunt. She will be looking to contribute more with the ball in the upcoming match.
Nadine de Klerk
Nadine de Klerk, the South African all-rounder, has been one of the best all-rounders for the side with her versatility. In her T20I career, she has scored 717 runs from 53 innings at a strike rate of 106, and she has also picked up 54 wickets from 62 innings at an economy rate of 7. In the series opener, she bowled well in the 1st innings as she picked up 2 wickets and gave away just 32 runs from her spell of bowling. She couldn’t get going with the bat, and that will be one area she will be looking to improve in the next game.
Masabata Klaas
Masabata Klaas, the South African bowler, has been an impactful bowler for the side as she can deliver in crucial situations. In her T20I career, she has picked up 48 wickets from 67 innings at an economy rate of 7. She has been clinical with her bowling as she picks wickets without leaking too many runs. In the series opener, she has picked up 2 wickets and given away just 15 runs from her spell of 4 overs. She will be a key bowler in the bowling unit of the Proteas.
