Smriti Mandhana overtakes Tammy Beaumont to score Most Runs in a 3-match Bilateral series

In the ongoing South Africa vs India multi-format series, which is being played from June 16 to July 9, India clinched the three-match ODI series. In the final ODI at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Smriti Mandhana scored 90 runs off 83 balls, setting a new record for the most runs in a three-match bilateral series with a total of 343 runs.

Mandhana broke Tammy Beaumont’s 342 runs, achieved against Pakistan in 2016. Other notable record from 2024 are set by both Laura Wolvaardt’s 335 runs, achieved against Sri Lanka and West Indies’ Hayley Matthews, who scored a total of 325 runs against Pakistan.
