A game on a rest day as well, Indian women’s team will now play against the South Africa women’s team in a match on Thursday. The game on Thursday is a rescheduled game for the two games that were abandoned due to wet field courtesy of the rain gods that pelted down in Surat for the majority of last week.
With the forecast now clear, the organizers have managed to schedule a game on Thursday to compensate for the two lost games. They were again tied down by the Indian spinners who picked up 6 wickets of the 7 wickets that fell in the South African innings. Poonam Yadav was the pick of the bowlers for Indian team picking up 3 vital wickets to break down the backbone of the South African batting lineup.
