A miserable day for LT’s batting line up as they lost their first 2 wickets in the very first over and only three players could reach the double digit figures. Also, four (4) other batters could not even open their account and had to return to the pavilion for a duck and thanx to the phenomenal bowling spell by Sophie Devine who took 3 wickets after bowling 2.5 overs. Another LL bowler who broke the backbone of the opponents was Just Gunn who took three wickets in as many overs by conceding just 10 runs.
A.Hartley’s and K. Cross’s excellent bowling went in vein as partnership between captain G. Elwiss and G.L. Adams helped LL to win the match easily by reaching the target in 15.1 overs.
