R Chaudhari
The 26-year-old all-rounder was a standout for the team in the Senior Women’s Twenty20 (T20) Trophy and has carried forward the momentum into the longer format. Renuka has taken 11 wickets, maintaining an economy rate of 1.39, from 5 One Day Outings and has been more than handy with the bat. She’ll be relied upon for the goods.
V Dinesh
The 22-year-old batter was impressive in the T20 competitions early in this domestic season and continues to leave a mark, now scoring runs in the One Dayers. Vrinda has registered scores of 21(35), 55(82), and 25(31) in her previous 3 outings, while also being amongst the wickets. It’ll be expected of her to make the most of this form.
S Pawar
The 27-year-old spinner following an impactful SWT20 season made the Inter Zonals cut as well. Sahana has further built on her reputation, displaying consistency, registering figures of 3/30, 3/24, and 2/20 in her previous 3 One Day outings. She’ll be backed to finish off the season on a high.
Pitch:
The Ravenshaw College Ground dishes a good wicket to bat on and expect it to be no different for the game with an average score in the 180s. The wicket will have enough in for bowlers as well, particularly for pacers who can change the course of the game.
