Jasia Akhtar
The 35-year-old batter accumulated 187 runs from 10 outings in the recently concluded Senior Women’s Twenty20 (T20) competition, at a strike rate of 128.08 and a top score of 47. Jasia kicked off her Inter Zonals campaign with a 17-ball 20 but hasn’t capitalized on the start. She’ll be backed to step up with the bat and regain her form.
Renuka Singh
The 27-year-old pacer didn’t have many games under her belt in the lead-up to the Inter Zonals. Despite limited game time, Renuka has bowled exceptionally well in this competition. Her bowling figures in the Inter Zonals have been impressive: 3/17, 1/23, and 2/6. She’ll be relied upon to provide the team with an excellent start with the ball.
Dhara Gujjar
The 21-year-old batter didn’t have the best run in the ’23 Senior Women’s T20 competition, managing just 160 runs from 8 outings, with a highest score of 41*. Dhara made it to the XI only once but didn’t get the opportunity to bat or bowl. However, she is expected to play a crucial role in the forthcoming fixtures and will be backed to rediscover her form.
Deepti Sharma
The 26-year-old all-rounder amassed 280 runs at an average of 40.00 from 9 Senior Women’s T20 outings, registering her highest score of 70*. She has also picked up a few wickets. Deepti has consistently managed starts in the Inter Zonals but will need to convert those starts, and also look to score at a better strike rate. Meanwhile, she’s been brilliant with the ball, economical and effective.

The center wicket at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Cricket Stadium offers a bowler-friendly surface that favors spinners. The conditions have been challenging for batting and is also reflected in the average score of 98, suggesting another low-scoring match.
