Players to watch out:

Luiza Tamang

The top-order batter had a few starts in the recently concluded Senior Women’s T20 competition. After a 3-run outing in the Inter Zonals opener, she once again managed a start but failed to convert it (26-ball 17). It’s expected of her to convert these scores into bigger scores.

Rajkumari Linthoingambi Devi

The batter has had a few good outings, with her recent impact outing coming in the Inter-Zonal. Batting in the lower order against North Zone, Rajkumari produced an unbeaten 8-ball 15-run cameo. It remains to be seen if she will be promoted in the batting order.

Tejal Hasabnis

The 26-year-old batter scored 168 runs in 6 outings, with a high score of 52. Tejal was in notable form, but she has struggled in her two recent Inter Zonal outings, departing for naught and 4. However, she should be backed to rediscover her form and be certain of her repaying the trust.

Radha Yadav

The 23-year-old all-rounder has been in decent form, contributing with both bat and ball in the SWT20 competition. In the Inter Zonals, Radha continues to be effective, registering bowling figures of 0/19 and 1/28. However, she’ll aim for more wickets in the upcoming games. Notably, she scored 16 runs off 17 balls in her most recent batting outing.

Pitch:

The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Cricket Stadium is a low-scoring venue that typically favors bowlers, especially spinners. The pitch has a neutral character and the average score at this venue is in the 110s, highlighting it as a challenging ground for batters.

With mostly cloudy skies and a minimal chance of rain, the conditions are ideal for a complete game of cricket in Lucknow. The temperature is expected to hover around 24°C, with light winds and humidity at 63%.
