Imena Herons and Ingabo Knights will go head-to-head for the final league game of the 2023 Rwanda Elite Women’s Twenty20 (T20) Tournament. The game gets underway at 4:45 PM Indian Standard Time (IST), on the 25th of June, 2023, at Gahanga International Cricket Stadium, Kigali.

While the Ingabo Knights continue their unbeaten success story with five straight wins in as many matches, the Imena Herons had a good start to their inaugural season with two consecutive victories. The 24-year-old all-rounder in Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), in 40 innings has scored 348 runs, while in 25 bowling innings has struck 18 wickets and registered the best of 3/3. Alice has had a good tournament scoring 87 runs and scalping 6 wickets in 5 outings.

Sonu Khadka

The 29-year-old left-arm pacer from Nepal in T20Is, in 8 innings has struck 2 wickets, while in her lone outing with the bat, added 12 to the tally. Sonu has been handy with the bat contributing 30 runs, while has also got 6 wickets to her name in 5 outings.

Sarah Uwera

The 27-year-old keeper-batter in 55 T20Is has scored 506 runs and has got the highest score of 60*. Sarah hasn’t had the best season with the bat, scoring just 57 runs in 5 outings, however, has looked promising and a big one could well be just around the corner.

Shadrack Tuelo

The 22-year-old all-rounder from Botswana, in T20Is, in 30 outings has scored 108 runs, while in 31 bowling outings has struck 16 wickets. Tuelo has had a brilliant campaign scalping 8 wickets at an economy rate of 3.90 and is 2nd on the wickets chart.

Pitch:

The center wicket at the Gahanga International Cricket Stadium favors bowlers, particularly the pacers leading to an average score of 76. However, batters once settle in and spend sufficient time in the middle can switch gears effortlessly, making scoring easier.
