Players to watch

Gongadi Trisha: 

The right-handed middle-order batter of India B led the run chase from the front in her last outing against India A. She muscled an undefeated 58 off 39, including eight boundaries and two sixes. In the process, she stitched a 65-run partnership with captain Niki Prasad for the fourth wicket.

Shabnam: 

The right-arm quick was one of the most successful bowlers for India B in her last fixture against India A. She scalped 14/2 in four overs, including 18 dot balls. She opened the bowling and bowled well with the new ball. She accounted for both wickets in the fifth over. She was also the most economical bowler for her side.

Shunelle Sawh: 

The wicketkeeper and left-handed batter of West Indies top-scored for her team in her last game against Sri Lanka. She opened the batting and mustered an unbeaten 35 off 58, including a couple of boundaries. She fought hard and held the batting innings of her team together.

Ashmini Munisar: 

The captain of West Indies was one of the two wicket-takers for her team in her last fixture against Sri Lanka. The right-arm off-spinner claimed 10/1 in four overs, including 18 dot balls. She was effective inside the powerplay and the most economical bowler for her side. She accounted for a run-out as well.

Pitch

It will be the tournament’s sixth match at the venue, with the fifth game being played early in the day. Out of the four games played here till November 16, the teams batting first have won one, and the teams batting second have won three. 105 is the average total scored here. The wicket has undergone a lot of wear and tear so the surface will be on the slower side. Spinners will be the key.
