Players from different parts of the country treat the tournament as a platform to showcase their talent. Aliya Riaz surpasses Sidra Amin by scoring the Highest Individual Score. The ongoing edition of the National Women’s T20 tournament has witnessed multiple occasions of individual brilliance where an individual has single-handedly contributed a major chunk of the team’s total.

Highest Individual scores by Pakistan women (Domestic)

Aliya Riaz (118 off 61 balls) [Rawalpindi Vs Multan, 29th January 2024]

Multan women led by skipper Gul Feroza won the toss and opted to field first. After being inserted to bat first, the Rawalpindi women lost a couple of wickets in quick succession and found themselves at 41/2 at one stage. Fajar Naved joined skipper Aliya Riaz at the crease and the duo stitched a massive 133-run stand for the 3rd wicket to bring Rawalpindi into a position of strength. They eventually ended with a total of 182 in their quota of overs. Skipper Aliya Riaz led from the front with the bat as she stayed unbeaten on 118 runs scoring at a humongous strike rate of 193.44. Her tally of runs included 17 boundaries and 4 maximums. She also notched up the highest individual score by Pakistan women surpassing Sidra Amin’s unbeaten 113 against Peshawar earlier in the ongoing tournament.

She is now the 4th highest run-scorer of the tournament with 312 runs to her name at an impressive strike rate of 145.12 and an impressive average of 52 in 9 innings. Her tally of runs includes a couple of half-centuries and a century.

Sidra Amin (113* off 55 balls) [Lahore Vs Peshawar, 18th January 2024]

Lahore skipper Nida Dar won the toss and opted to bat first against Peshawar in the 9th match of the tournament. Lahore posted a humongous total of 233 runs in their quota of overs, scoring at a daunting run rate of 11.65 runs per over. Both the openers, Sidra Amin (113 off 55 balls) scored at a humongous strike rate of 205.45. and Sadaf Shamas (106 off 66 balls) scoring at a strike rate of 160.61 managed to carry their bat throughout the innings. Both the openers completed their respective centuries. Lahore eventually sealed the game by a massive 147-run margin as they were bundled out for 86 in their quota of overs.

She is now the leading run-scorer of the tournament with 453 runs at an impressive strike rate of 145.66 and a humongous average of 90.60 in 9 innings so far. Her tally of runs includes 3 half-centuries and a century.

Ayesha Zafar (113 off 65 balls) [Lahore Vs Multan, 26th January 2024]

Multan skipper Gull Feroza won the toss and opted to field first against Lahore. After being inserted to bat first, Lahore posted 200 runs on the board, scoring at 10 runs per over. The opening batters Sidra Amin and Ayesha Zafar stitched a massive 183-run opening partnership. Ayesha Zafar completed her well-deserved century (113 off 65 balls) scoring at an impressive strike rate of 173.85. Sidra Amin stayed unbeaten on 71 runs scoring at a strike rate of 139.22. Lahore eventually sealed a massive 119-run victory as Multan was bundled out for 81 with 23 balls to spare.

Muneeba Ali (108 off 69 balls) [Challengers Vs Dynamites, 2020]

Muneeba Ali was a part of the PCB Challengers in the National Triangular T20 Women’s Cricket Championship. The Challengers were up against the Dynamites in the 3rd match of the tournament. Challengers skipper Bismah Mahroof won the toss and opted to bat first against the Nahida Khan-led side. The Challengers posted a massive total of 182/3 in their quota of overs. The opening batter Muneeba Ali smashed a well-deserved century (108 off 69 balls) at an impressive strike rate of 156.52. Her tally of runs included 17 boundaries and a maximum. She played a crucial role in helping her side surpass the 170-run mark. The Challengers eventually sealed a comprehensive 42-run victory over the Dynamites as they restricted them to 140/5 in their quota of overs.

Sadaf Shamas (106* off 66 balls) [Lahore Vs Peshawar, 18th January 2024]

On 18th January 2024, Lahore Women’s opening batter Sadaf Shamas smashed an unbeaten century scoring at an impressive strike rate of 160.61. Her tally of runs included 15 boundaries and a couple of maximums. The game-changing knock came when the Lahore skipper Nida Dar won the toss and opted to bat first against Peshawar. Her fellow opening batter Sidra Amin also smashed an unbeaten century (113 off 55 balls) scoring at a humongous strike rate of 205.45. The duo played a crucial role in helping their side seal a massive 147-run victory over Peshawar.
