1) Jemimah Rodrigues – The 18-year-old continued her terrific form in her maiden season of KSL. She played a match-winning knock of 60 in just 27 balls with 10 boundaries and 2 sixes. She ended up the season as the highest run-getter with 401 runs with an average of 57
2) Fran Wilson – The English batter scored an excellent cameo of 45 runs in just 20 balls including 3 boundaries and 3 sixes.
3) Freya Davies – Though Diamonds scored 104 in 10 overs. Davies was excellent with the ball .she ended her spell with excellent figures of 3 for 7 in 2 overs, which is extraordinary in a rain-curtailed game.

Jemimah continues to dominate with the bat as Yorkshire Diamonds were victorious over Western Storm by 5 runs in a rain-curtailed 10 over match at Taunton on Wednesday.
As it rained heavy, winning the toss, Storm skipper opted to bowl. Opening the inning for Diamond, Healy and Winfield were dismissed early trying to be aggressive in the bowling of Davies.
Then came the young sensation who has been sensational in her maiden season of KSL. She took her team out of trouble scoring a quick 60 in just 27 balls including 10 fours and 2 sixes. This is her second Fifty of the season. With this innings, she became the leading run-scorer of this season, picking her has been an excellent buy for Diamonds. So, with the help of her excellence Diamonds completed the inning with 104 for 4 on the board.
Freya Davies was excellent with the bowl as she picked up 3 wickets conceding just 7 runs. Chasing the target, Mandhana and in form batter Priest both failed to try to be aggressive as both were dismissed for just 7 runs, Skipper Knight too did not contribute much as she got out for just 4 runs, the upcoming batters Fran Wilson and Sophie Luff tried their best to chase the target, Sadly, they failed even after playing well cameos, both scored 45 and 31 respectively. In the end, Storm was short by 5 runs.
This is the first defeat of the season for the storm, which is a good hiccup before the finals day. On the other hand, Diamonds missed it by a whisker to qualify for finals day.
